Welcome to Project Dryptosaurus

Dryptosaurus (pronounced drip-toe-sore-us) is a genus of primitive tyrannosauroid that lived
approximately 67 million years ago during the latter part of the Cretaceous period in what is now
Eastern North America. New Jersey has always been known for it's famous
Hadrosaurus foulkii,
but what about
Dryptosaurus? Although well known to paleontologists, it is not as well known to
the general public. This dinosaur played an important role in the history of paleontology.
Dryptosaurus.com is dedicated to telling the story of this magnificent animal and for bringing
together all things
Dryptosaurus.  We are currently building and updating, so stay tuned for
further updates!
